Interesting Memo to Employee

Today is rather a relax and stress free day to pass.. In another 10 mins, I'm officially off. But still have to work tomorrow. That is the worst part of my working life. Have to work on alternate Saturdays where you know your hubby is at home waiting for you. Anyhow, my mood today is still okay till now.. Today is another special day for Singaporeans too.. The BIG TOTO DAY.. I think the prize for today is 1 million. Have you got yours? Well me, ermmm, I didn't actually bought one until Winnilicious asked me and said that at least buy a chance for $0.50. Too be frank, I am always not that lucky and I know that the ticket will eventually be part of the rubbish in the bin. But in any case, I wish my friends and readers good luck and hope God of Fortune look up to your house and knock at your door.. *Hoping for one to knock my door too*...

Later will be going for sushi buffet @ Hougang Plaza with Princess Yvonne and hubby. It's gonna be another bloated dinner. Can't wait for her to come over to my office and head for dinner then..

Back to the topic I wanna blog about is regarding a post I came across and I've ask the owner of the blog for permission to copy over the post to mine as I really wanna share this interesting post to all my friends and readers. To: All Staff,

As you know, the realities of the downturn have hit home and I am forced to introduce the following cost-cutting measures to help shore up our beloved company. I know you will understand that the pain is temporary and the gains will be there for all of us to reap when the company comes through these difficult times stronger… and ready to ride the next big
wave. So with immediate effect, all staff will be required to adhere to the following:

a. The cups on the two vending machines are to be recycled. Annabelle has already serialised them.

b. Sabbatical leave: Executives booked for New York will now go to Kukup in Johor Bahru instead. Senior executives can go further - up to Yong Peng.

c. Our chalet lease in Pulau Ubin has ended. However, as the management takes a keen interest in staff welfare, we have arranged with Francis (from Admin Dept) to rent out one of his rooms at Blk 923, Pasir Ris Drive. His flat was chosen for its proximity to the sea and you can still see Ubin from the window.

d. Entertainment claims: Staff will be required to go for a 30-min demonstration by Raj from Finance Dept, who will show you how to withdraw your credit card slowly from your wallet (58 secs), so that others at a business lunch will inadvertently beat you to it when the bill comes.

e. The Valentine's Day white chocolates (Deluxeur) which I gave out in January : Those of you who have yet to open the box, please return them (expiry date: Dec 2009).

f. Monthly Best Employee Award : The $1000 cash award will now be replaced by a box of Deluxeur white chocolates.

g. Annual Best Employee Award : The 14-day Disneyland/Hawaii tour and solid gold Rolex Oyster watch will be replaced by TWO boxes of Deluxeur white chocolates.

h. Medical: The Oxfordshire-Hopkins Medical Group will no more be on our panel. Annabelle will give you the address of Hong Tong Hong Medical Hall in Sungei Road. Bring you company pass for a 10% discount.

i. Country Club Memberships : Senior executives must return their membership cards to Annabelle, who will then register your name with Bishan Community Centre.

j. Transport Allowance : No reduction of rate! However, it will be paid on alternate months.

k. Gifts for clients : New choices. The Bohemian Crystal list will be replaced by the one from 7-eleven.

l. Annual Dinner & Dance : No change (March 20, yay!), but the venue is switched from The Ritz-Carlton to the void deck of Annabelle's flat in Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10.

m. Bonus : This time, staff welfare comes first! Instead of the usual amount, we raised it up to $2 million. Each employee will be given a Singapore Sweep ticket. The draw is on March 5.

trying hard to revive my spirit

Like I said, I wanted to revive my spirit in blogging, hoping to gain more readers or to benefit my friends who read my blog.. But it seems not working out for me. The moment I reach home, I would pay my bed a visit. The visit would usually last for a least 3-4 hours. Which means, by the time I wake up, it is already 10 plus at night. I will then start sit infront of the TV, have my dinner or I would rather say my supper. Basically, I am either lazy to set up my lappy or I don't want to disturb hubby from his gaming session.

Still looking ways to revive my blogging spirit.. *thinks for abt an hour or so*... Well well, I've come to some conclusion which I hope I will be able to follow.

1) The moment I reach home, I will take get hubby to help me set up the Lappy. While waiting, I will go for my bath and prepare dinner.

2) Will blog the very moment I touch my Lappy then follow by Plurking or even Facebooking. (Usually, I will Plurk and facebook when I on my lappy)

3) Find intersting stuff to blog of. Like outing with friends, hubby or even Niki.. (starting to realise that I've not been blogging my food feasting, my dear Niki.)

4) Be more active in blogging website like Ping.sg

5) Last but not least, I need to have readers to read my blog too. I hope to have lotsa readers but I doubt so, my blog is not motivative, not interesting. It's just me and my own little world with all my whinings and my every bit of my life.

*Thinking hard for more*.. I think so far I can think of this few ways.. I hope to have it fulfil and revive my blogging spirit asap just like before.. Gonna Strive for the Best!

Lazy Post again

Yup yup.. I am starting to blog again. Yet another lazy post. I really need to buck up more in blogging. At such a point of blogging, it will be hard to earn money from blogging.

Yesterday, Princessa was asking me if I would like to appear on Gadget3 Magazine: Your Say (Interview)‏(just a little small section). She ask me what is my 1st Next Year's Resolution. Initially, in my heart after seeing this question, I kept on thinking what the hell is my new resolution. Pause for awhile, this new resolution strike me. I wanted to travel once every 3 mths and ofcos to the places I always wanted to go like Europe, Japan, US and many others. In fact, I have been wanted to achieve this resolution but not being able to too.

Well, I do have other resolution too, but not priority. My next resolution is to have my car upgrade to Lexus RX300. (That's fat hope). Then next I want to have a very very nice figure like I use to have. Followed by, I wanna be a pretty mum.. (Haiz, its time to have a baby with hubby). Hmmm, I think I should be stopping here cos I don't really wanna disclose my secret out.. Anyway, Princessa it's okie if I am not featured on ur mag, I know my pic always give you problem.

Princess Yvonne, I will upload my photo real soon, prolly immediately after this post. Oh, I also wanna tell you this, "I am really happy to hear that you are enjoying ur life with ur "newly met" (I hope you know who I am refering too). I am hoping to hear you laughter back like I used to hear and I think yesterday I've heard it. Pls keep it up gal. Laughter should be from you heart and not inorder to make your friend happy you just smile. Remember, follow where your heart lead you and not running away."

Alright, I thought this is a lazy post and yet I am writing so much. I am so so back to blogging I guess.. Gonna sign off now, shall have another post with the Korea pics for sure..

Princess Fiona? Me? Yah Yah..

Was talking to Princess Yvonne on Wednesday about our blog's issues like the blogskins, links, nicknames and no. of readers. I told her that most of the blogs which came with the name "Princess" usually will have lots of unknown readers from round the world. True enough, most of my friends with the name "Princess" infront are having rather lotsa readers. Take for example, Princessa, Princess Winnillicous and Princess Yvonne. And I was joking to her that I wanna add a Princess infront of my name too.. (-_-") *Hehehe*

After much discussion, me came to a final decision. I am going to name myself as Princess Fiona aka Xiaoweini aka Berlin. Hahhaha... Yes! I have a princess name.. You guys must be thinking why I must still have Xiaoweini in the title.. Hahaha.. Simple, cos Xiaoweini is my gaming ID.. Hehehe... Why I choose Princess Fiona as my another nick? Reason is, I have many commons with her.

FEELING LOUSY FOR MISSING IT

Gosh!! Why must it clash with the company dinner? *Faint* I thought this year I would be able to make it to the Ping Anniversary Party but.. but... I guess I might have to give it a miss again. This year my boss have invited me to a company dinner as an appreciation.. So how I can give a miss wor.. Hmmmm... How how how howwwww...

I am still pondering if to give up the dinner with my boss or to give up Ping party or to go Ping party @ a later time or to go later for the dinner.. Hmmm... Anyone can help solve?? One hand boss (my future) another hand party time (my present).. hahahahaha..

Sighs another 2 more days to decide... *Sob sob* Why do I always have to decide?

New face lift blog

Yeah!!! Finally, I have finish changing my blog's look... Having the "Toons Ville" blog skin for the past 3 mths and I am getting a little bored with the layout.. So I decided to check out Blogskin for new skin.

To decide which skin to use for Blogger's blog is rather difficult in Blogskin. They have lots of blogskin contributions from the netizens. Narrowing down one by one, I finally came down with a decision. Using Princessa's work again. Reason I choose her work is simple, cos her blogskin comes with a comment section whereby most netizens' work does not come with it.

Hmmm.. I am rather happy with my new blog look.. What do you think? Doesn't suit me? Hahaha.. For you to comment then..

Wanna change my blog look!

Have been using this layout or rather say blogskin for the past 3 mths and I am getting abit bored on my own blog. Thinking I should maybe change the blogskin for my blog and refresh myself and the same time my readers.

Went to Blogskin to find a suitable blogskin for my blog, but can't find one that really suits me. Its either not the colour I want or the blogskin doesn't contain comments section. Well well, its not the end, ofcos I went to check on Princessa's creation. And ofcos I found 1, 2 or even 3 creations I like. Now I need to have the time to shift the stuffs from the old blogskin to the new one.. Wondering how long would I take this time round..

Stay tune and I shall get it done soon.. Hope to do it before my birthday = by next Wed. Hehehe..
