It's Monday lor

It's Monday today and I'm @ home.. Am on leave today so will not feel blue today yah.. Finally my blog setting is back to normal.. Phew.. Have all my functions back..

Again another do nothing day. Had did laundry and household chores.. I wanted hubby yo come back to a clean home.. Afterall he is outside working hard.. I know he definitely will "chiong" finish his work in order to come back home early.

Tomorrow my renovator will be here to take a look on my lightings problem. Actually, I wanted to get other electrician to help me out today but on second thoughts, I think I should wait for him cos all my lightings wiring is hidden and they are the only ones who knows where the wiring is running. I hope they'll do a good job and not only solve my problem now and not forever. 制标不制本。 Short post for this.. Wanna go rest for a while le.. Tataz..

Mini Renovation for my New home?

Me & hubby have the same thinking. We are thinking about our new love nest. The living room wall was rather plain and we are thinking that the lightings in our home is rather dim. (Although we requested for it but we also request for bright as in 2 in 1 but the brightness that the contractor gave is not enough.)

The Waterfall at Home

Finally, my home water supply is back to normal. The HDB / Town Council technician actually came on Thursday to get it done up.

As known from them, the water supply pipe which supply water from the water pump is choke. CHOKE! By what? They wouldn't describe. Just brush away the topic by saying its some nails and construction stuff..

Right now, the water is just running like a waterfall. I even only need to on half of the tap to get enough supply of water. Hope this situation will last forever and not the water supply pipe gets choke again.

BTW, just a little information for those who reads my blog and is facing this problem. Your home water supply shouldn't be running like peeing. It is very usual to have a strong pressure of water. SO, if you are facing this problem too. Please proceed to your Town Council and get them to check your piping out. Probably its choke too..

Staying In Kampong or in HDB

I am really very very very fustrated with the problem I am facing now for my flat. At times I am wondering why must all the bad things happen to me in my new flat. First is my renovation issue, then the aircon and now is the freaking water supply.

Look here, I pay the water and electrical fee promptly. I don't owe PUB any money but at times, I do not get my water supply. Even if there is water supply, the water pressure is like peeing. WTF!! How to wash my hair with the water pressure I am having now. With all the conditioner on my hair and I have to use at least 15-20 mins to wash cleanly.

Few days back ago. Oh... NO.. Not, it should be in fact few months back ago. Initially when we notice the water pressure issue, I thought that I could be because no one moved in yet so the people maybe did not turn on the supply fully or what ever so.. But now, when the flat around 80% full, the water supply is getting from bad to worst. Just 2 weeks ago at a Saturday afternoon, I went to bath and while my whole body was soapy, the water supply just went dripping and then nothing. And I have to wait in the toilet with all the soap and shampoo around for about 10mins. Worst part is, today, I already woke up late for work and was in hurry to brush and wash up. But the water supply is giving us problem again. Hubby flush the toilet after use and after that it was me wanted the flush the toilet. But there is no water coming out. I told probably the toilet bowl is refilling water so I proceed to brush my teeth. GOD DAMN! There is totally no water at all.. We waited and waited and waited. Like about 10 mins, we try again and this time round, its like peeing. Then we waited for another 10 mins, the water is slight more for brushing teeth but not for bathing. Out of no choice, I give bathing a miss. (I don't wish too).. Be it in the morning, afternoon or even midnight, there is bound to be a day either water supply is like peeing or no water at all.. I HAD ENOUGH OF ALL THIS FARKING NONSENSE.

So I decided to complaint up to HDB. I called them & a lady picks up the phone. After hearing my complain, she pity me too. She immediately get a technician to call me. (so prompt service & I wanna compliment her here.) Few minutes later, a guy called me over my phone and fix an appointment with me to take a look at the water issue.

Technician : "Hello can I speak to Ms Berlin?"

Me : "Yup. Speaking here."

Technician : "Understand your complaint about the water. Can I go and see now?"

Me : "Now!.. But no one is at home"

Technician : "Then when can I come?"

Me : "How about tomorrow around 10 am?"

Technician : "Alright, I will be at your house around 10-10.30am"

Me: "But sir, the water problem is not every issue. It just happen when it feels like to happen"

Technician : "Is it the whole flat or just the bathroom? Have you open the pipe outside your
house to full blast?"

Me : "Yah yah, mu husband already open it to full blast but still no use. Anyway, I am not the one
complaint. My neighbours are all saying that the water supply is terrible"

Technician : "But Miss, so far only received your complaint"

Me : "Precisely, no one is taking action and I have to do it. Nobody knows where to call. I too got
to know from friend that I should call town council to lodge a complaint."

Technician : "But Miss, you called HDB and not town council."

Me (Abit flare up already) : "I can't find the town council no. so I choose to call HDB"

Technician : "Anyway, I will go take a look and will call you back, I will also help you to revert
back to town council if needed."

Me (cooled down abit) : "Thanks for your help."

So now, we shall wait and see. If I don't get the water, I shall video it down and find ways to complain. EVEN IF I HAVE TO GO ALL THE WAY THE THE RC MEMBER.

Fuming Hot!

This post is supposed to be posted yesterday. All thanks to blogger was down in the late morning yesterday. Whatever I have type had gone down to drain. Now I have to restart the whole post again. Lately, the weather here is killing. One moment as hot as dessert, the next moment raining cats & dogs. Ofcos when the weather is warm, we depend on one invention called Air-cond. We expect the air-cond to supply us with cool air to chill us down. But what if your air-cond is not functioning at such a god damn warm day.

Yup yup.. Mine air-cond is giving me problem now. Both my guest rooms air-cond are not working @ all. The air the air-cond releases is hot air.. So imagine the room is already so warm plus the air-cond releasing warm air out? *Faint*... I had already complain once to F--I--U (shall not disclose the brand name yet. If they fail to fulfilled my needs, I shall write in to Stomper and New Paper or even to CASE.) regarding my air-cond is not functioning. So they arranged their own technician to come over to check and said that the installer (their sub-contractor) had forgotten to fill up the gas. Then 2 weeks later, the god damn aircon is down again & I called them the 2nd time. This time round, they send the sub-contractor down to check and found out that one of the pipe was not tied properly. Then again after 2 weeks, it give the same problem. And once again I called them (this time round not in a very polite way). I told them, if they are not going to do anything, I am going to settle it by myself and I shall send them all the invoices and ofcos I will send a complaint to CASE to get my justice back. You may think that I am a nerd for blowing up the matter. But can you imagine, the paint of my bedrooms are all ruin and all thanks to their nonsense. I had it repaint back and the problem came back and I had to repaint again. IT'S REALLY HOPPING MAD!!!!! This time, both F--I--U technician and the sub-contractor came down. And they detected the so-called "Thermister" is not working. And the technician had it change on the spot. GUESS WHAT! It's still not working for goodness sake.. End of the day, the technician told me that he had to revert back to his engineer and see what can they do to it..

Till now, I am still patiently waiting for their call.. But I think my patient is running to the max.. Thinking I will blow up sooner or later.. I am going to give them till end of today and if they are not going to settle it. I will take up this issue myself... Wondering how can they advertise until so "Song".. Advertisement are not true de... This is what I found out... Believe me or not, up to you...

How can I forget?

Gosh! I actually have forgotten what I wanna blog. Actually, I should be blogging for the past few days but.... I simply too tired to do it. The moment I left office, either I went to KFC for my part time job till 1 am or go home straight, after dinner, I would head to the bed and snore.. I can't pull myself sitting infront of my lappy to start typing my post.. Haiz.. Now when I have the time, I had forgotten what to blog about.. Me getting older le ba.. Memories are getting for bad to worst..

Hmmm, let me recount what happen the last week.. Oooh yah! I remember! I wanna blog about my house warming and Mother's Day with mum. I am utterly sorry to you guys. Seriously, I am too busy till I forget to take photos. I had the camera prepared already but still I gave it a clean of mind. Now, I am very regret cos no more memories for this house warming.. *Sob sob*..

Although without photos, I shall write out the whole day event. Have slept for barely 5 hours and woke up on Sat morning @ 0930hrs. I was being pulled out of bed by hubby as we had lotsa things to do. After having our breakfast, we start off to clean up our house for the 2nd round. (Have done it the previous night but wanna maintain the cleanliness so have to re-do it again). To be honest, I have not been doing household chores ever since I've married to my hubby. All this while he had been doing it without a complaint. Now, for the sake of my new house and like I promised to hubby I will change into a new leaf, I have do up the laundry, sweep and mop the whole house. Please! Not only for the particular Saturday. I have been doing it the moment we moved in.

Around 1 plus, one of hubby's colleague came and left shortly after viewing our flat as she still have to go to work. Then after that around nearly 2pm, Justin came. He came with his mum.. Comment from Justin and auntie were good ones and our idea also help Justin in his house mini renovation.. "Justin, I need to charge you for consultation fee liao wor.. Or should I say copy right fee..Hahaha".. When 2:30pm strike, most of hubby's colleagues, friends, my friends and colleagues came. Here is the most tedious part where we have to entertain all our friends and they came at the same time around 7 plus. I was confused and lost, I totally do not know who to serve or entertain liao.. Some of the friends came and I still did not notice. I know this is bad but I can't help it.. Too many ppl came at a time.. The house is too small and I have only 2 hands and a mouth to use.. Arrggghhh..

Around 9 plus, friends and colleagues started to leave one by one. Leaving those little brats (Rina, Sherry, Yuxiang & Leo), Karen, Royce, Yibin and Victor from KFC de. They are staying back for playing pool and mahjong. Around 12 plus pass midnight, the little brats wanna leave after their games of pool. At this point of time, you must be thinking me and hubby is cleaning up the house.. Nah! Me, playing mahjong with the rest and hubby is resting his eyes. The rest of them were already sound asleep in my cosy living room. If I could still remember, they left our house @ around 5 plus in the morning for the first bus. Then woke up in the same morning just to clean up the whole mess created the previous night.. *Woot* This is really tough. Not easy to hold a house warming.. Luckily no need to work, if not, my bones will break for sure. After all, its finally over..

Last Sunday, we are supposed to go for a Dim Sum buffet spread with my sister and her family, but as my sister was busy with her exams, it ended up with me, Hubby and Mum. Mum sleep over @ our side the previous night and I brought her to Compasspoint to for a lunch. When we reach Compasspoint, we went to Sakura which a restaurant that serves Thai food. But, the price of the set meal was rather steep and the food was not worth of money. Then we went to other restaurant like Swensen's & Jack's Place. But the queue was so horrible. Damn long queue lor.. Now adays, Singaporean are getting more and more richer. We can all afford for a sumptuous meal in the restaurant. *Wink* We ended up @ the Food Court. No photos was taken, but overall spend around near $60.00 for the 3 of us. So you can imagine how nice our food is.. Keke.. After lunch, we went for a little shopping and then head home for a rest.

The next day is ofcos a working day and nothing much happen on that day. Still recalling hard anything happen.. Guess, I really need to upload my pictures for more memory refresh.. Well thinking I should end this post and hope to get myself sit infront of the PC to upload all my pictures and refresh my memories for more.. Pls bear with me for my laziness recently.. *bow*

Realised that I haven't been loading photos recently. I had taken a few photos with my N95 and are still in the phone.. I am too lazy to load photos but guess will do in maybe by tonite.. (Hope So)..

Finally my house warming date is set. 3rd May is the day. With buffet lunch/dinner of 80 pax, hubby and me were still thinking if is enough for all my guest.. hmm.. Maybe shall get some spare food to standby..

Have been very tired recently. Can't sleep really well @ night for no reason too.. And I am really really really exhuasted.. Guess my engery have dried up, and this means, I need another holiday.. I seriously need another holiday.. Too tired.. Batam or Genting as a very short trip? Will see after house warming.

Hmm.. Guess have to stop here.. Boss is here liao and it's time for me to bury myself into the work..

DO NOT ORDER Mini Lobsters!!

Recently have been busy with moving house and finally its all done. Left with one more box to unpack. Basically everything has already settled. Not an easy job.. It's really tiring lor.. Still remember on Saturday (the day where we are moving), I had stand for almost 9 - 10 hours and it resulted that my heel to suffer severe pain and caused me unable to walk. Hope to unpack and clean up the house and hold the house warming real soon. That's the only time I can take a good rest.

Niki seems bothered staying in new house. He is lethargic, all he do is sleep and sleep and sleep the whole day. Hope he get himself stable down too.. I am pretty sure that he is so not used to the new house. GOD! Pls bless Niki with good health.

Back to the topic of the mini lobster। I have recently received an email from one of my friend where it says "Do not order mini lobster in China". In curiousity, I opened up the email॥ Oh gross, I don't dare to order any mini lobster anymore.. Gosh!! Not even in Singapore.. Now, let's see what's the email about..

Do not eat these spicy mini lobsters in / from China !!!These mini crustaceans are literally the garbage cleaners in thesewage treatment plants। The 'dirtier' the water, the fatter thesemini lobsters become।Their lungs are full of worms (see pic below) and their fleshsaturated with poisonous metals।Unscrupulous merchants somehow found a way to get these marketed toeateries. "They" are haunting you?

Before I start off with the little story on the title I stated in my blog title, I shall give a little debrief on my new house renovation progress.

The renovation is coming to an end, and they are starting to clear up. Been there to do a sudden check 2 days before with hubby and the results is good but if you look into details, it sucks. Cast aside the additional cost issue which I have to pay for no reason (Which I think that he is treating me like a "carrot"), the PAINT WORK they gave me simply pissed me off. THERE ARE MARKS ON THE WALLS.. The marks are like as though they had painted and accidentally touch it when semi dry. Then they just paint over the damaged paint without doing anything.. (Know? The liquid paper have not dry and you write on it, it become like a mark and you use liquid paper to go over it again.) *Faint* I had feedback to hubby regarding this issue and ask him to tell the contractor. When hubby told him regarding my issue, the contractor replied "OH.. It's like that de.." *KOAZ* This is crappy.. Don't give me nonsense lor.. Luckily Wilson is helping me out to trash things out with him.. ERr.. Maybe not trash.. Hahaha.. Thanks Wilson anyway.. (BTW Wilson is Yvonne's boyfriend, a very helpful man.)

Alright that's for all lah.. Too long for my debrief. Now next story about Yvonne.. She have not been sleeping well these few nights. Hmmm I supposed should be about 4 days le ba.. It's all because of her White butterfly issue.. Shall not say much about her butterfly thingy.. Maybe you may link to read more from her blog and get a better understanding.. I bet after you read it.. You must be thinking how can it be.. She must be too tired or stress or worn out and cause her imagination runs wild.. Listen here, I know this gal for more and 5 years and she used to double tired or stress or worn out.. But she did not tell me this type of things before. Me freak out when she told me her encounter and I am really worried of her.. I am worried that she might not be able to hang on.. Told her to go to the temple and pray and get an amulet if available to ward off any evil. She JUST SIMPLY REFUSE..

You guys may say I am too superstitious.. But nothing in this world is not possible.. You won't believe it if you don't see it.. And yes I am ghost is what I saw before and I raised both my legs and hands to agree on such things is available in this world... And I belief that Yvonne could have disturb the White butterfly and the butterfly is revenging or purely wanna disturb her.. A piece of advise to everyone, do not try to catch / kill / TAKE PHOTOs a butterfly which is flying around in your house. My mum says, those butterflies are usually with spirits in them. How can one butterfly fly in the middle of the night in your house and furthermore your house got no flowers?



God.. I pray you could help Yvonne and let her overcome this.. Amitaba.. :)

My Monday Morning

Yawn.. *Stretching out my body*.. Feeling abit "blurish" now. Woke up rather early this morning, like around 4:30am.. Look here, I don't wake up this early & previous night I am slept @ 2am. *Yawn again*

I have a very important things to handle, that's why I have to wake up that early with hubby. We are shifting our Guan Yin (Goddess of Mercy - Hope I get it right) to our new house. Mum is helping us too. And that means, she has to forsake her beauty sleep to help me.. *Feeling giddy now*

Hubby was carrying the statue of Guan Yin and mum was carrying the incense holder, while I am the driver for the morning trip. We reach our new house in the morning. The moment we step in, I was like..like.. Hmmm.. should I use the word SHOCK. It was so nice with the lightings. Sorry guys, forget to take photo again. Shall take if I have the chance. The living room feeling is so cosy and that's the feeling I wanna.. Thanks Wen Qiang, you did a good job. I love the feature wall, I love the colour of
my flats and most importantly, I love the kitchen cabinet. Its so so different from the rest of HDB.. *I may be abit swa ku (Mountain turtle). But I really din see any of the HDB flat does the same kitchen cabinet as mine.. *Abit proud liao*.. Back to our Guan Yin. Both mum and Hubby start to busy with placing Guan Yin at the table that we have prepared. After settling the Guan Yin, mum took a little tour around our house and seems glad on the renovation.

After viewing the house, we headed home and that was about 6 am.. We hurried home so we can catch more sleep before we start work. We sleep for another 1 1/2 hour den went to work. Now here at office, I am still in dreamy mode and seriously I wanna sleep more..

OH.... It cost us a bomb..

Fainting real soon.. All rolling in @ a time. Furniture, electrical appliance, renovation, cooker hood and hob, aircon and many many more stuffs.. We are spending 5 figure amount from Sat to today. And the worst part is, we have to wait for all the stuffs to send in to our new house so our contractor can help us to assemble all in one.

Today, both me and hubby have taken leave to just wait for all the stuffs to be send in. First the aircon @ 9am. Then went to Jalan Besar to buy our lightnings with our contractor. Then go back to our house to wait for the Sumsung delivery man to send our TVs in @ 2 pm. Then wait for the hardware ppl to deliver our sink, tap, cooker hood and hob @ 3 pm. And lastly, the electrical appliance like refrigerator, our Home Theatre system, DVD player and the water storage heater @ 5 pm.. Then we waited for the electrician to settle the re-routing..

After that we went to IKEA for some more shopping since we are unable to do it on Sunday after shopping from 4 pm to 10 pm.. MONEY again... Now I bet you guess know why we are gonna faint real soon.

Still have lotsa things to buy.. A fitting curtain, a pool table as a dinning table, bathroom stuffs.. OOHHHHH... We need help.. hahaha... This is really tiring.. Think I shall make it a short one.. Gonna hit the sack..

It's Not Easy.. Really Not EASY!

Shack is the only word that I can used for both me and Hubby.. Since the our house key collection, me and hubby had been running around Singapore like nobody biz. *OMG bones are shattering*


We have been running to Audio House, Mustafa, Courts and finally one of the HDB void deck shop house. We finally settle down with the following electrical appliances : -

1) 40" Sumsung LCD TV - $1650.00 (Not the lastest model thou but HD Ready mode)
2) 32" Sumsung LCD TV - $749.00 (Not the latest model thou but HD Ready mode too)
3) 3 door upright Mitsubishi Electric Refridgerator - $750.00
4) System 3 Fujitsu Airconditioning - $1950.00
5) Elaine cooker (forget what's the word use.. The one that we cook our food link to the gas one) and exhuast - $500.00
All these must buy by today so we can get them fix up by Monday and the contractor can start to renovate my home le.

As for tomorrow, guess I need to take a off day to settle some of the home stuffs like, wait for the SP Service people to come and switch on the electrical and water supply. Next, have to go to Ikea to get mirrors and the curtain hook. Next need to see some furniture and then if need to buy some decoration for our home. Next to go buy the pool table to act as dinning table. Woahh.. So many things to clear... *Faint*

Still have to take leave either on Monday or Tuesday to meet up the contractor to go round the house to check for any defaults in the house, then go see lightnings. Before going round with the contractor, we need to make sure the aircon man come to fix up the aircon first.

Argghhh.. This is really lotsa things to look into.. More to come still. Furnitures is another headache.. *Already faint on the floor*.
